Such a mental game, I'm sure that's the biggest factor


He's always been a solid ballstriker and average putter, relying on tons of birdie chances. His tee to green let him down this year. And once you start mishitting then it starts getting in your head. Gotta get his mental game right and his natural talents will take over from there.

I wonder if he would benefit from a lighter schedule too. 30+ starts on Tour every year since 09. That's a lot of golf per year when you consider travel, sleeping in hotels, practice rounds, etc. The hole he dug early prob forced it this year so who knows what his intent was. Seems to me like 25 or so is the ideal number to balance keeping the game sharp and getting adequate time away. He's the pro though so he'd obviously know better than me... just an observation.
