I always wondered why all the videos that MTV aired early were made


what was the outlet for them. Before MTV the only place I ever remembered seeing a music video was on Don Kirshner's Rock concert which was on after some show that was after SNL.

Where were these thing playing that got artists to spend the time and money to make them pre-MTV?
