I agree with everything you said. As an ACC outsider I currently view the ACC Football as Clemson, FSU & Everyone else. Others step up every year, but it doesn't seem to be the same schools each time. Unfortunately for us that bad hire really set us back in everyone's minds. We'd been making rapid progress with Randy Edsall and even made it to (and lost in) a BCS Bowl. But all momentum was lost after that and our dismal performance is what folks remember. I wished we moved the football needle, but we don't and that's part of the reason we're still on the sidelines.
