Networks will ask which current Big 12 members prefer not to be on TV.

Big 12 can add teams. ESPN and Fox are only required to broadcast X number of games (for football, I think it is 61 combined for the 2 networks).

Every new team adds 12 games to the conference content. So they are looking at either 24 or 48 additional games. So those extra games will likely be farmed out to any local network willing to handle them.

And if any of the new adds has a good year, it means a current member would vanish from the basic ESPN/Fox platforms.
