If that is true then why did Syracuse insist it get to play BC and Pitt


every year? Likewise, Pitt insisted it get to play Syracuse every year? Hence Pitt and Syracuse was paired up as protected cross-division rivals. Heck even Pitt's fans consider Syracuse to be a big ACC rival.
