This water downs the Big 12 and could be a strategic move by OK, UT...


BYU is decent... and I think Houston has a lot of upside. Memphis is likely always going to be in Tennessee's shadow. Cincinnati is likely always going to be in Ohio State's shadow. Overall these teams will not help the conference in my opinion. More matchups like this...

Iowa State vs Cincinnati
TCU vs Memphis
OK State vs Houston
Kansas vs BYU

BIG Picture -> UT, Oklahoma, and Kansas will leave this mediocre conference... but the Big12 survives as it still has about 12 members left.... meaning KSU, OK State, TCU, and Baylor still have a conference enabling UT, OK, and KS to leave. Hmmmm.
