To get around that B12 could remain a "P5" by adding schools


For example, OU and UT leave and they are replaced by four schools. The bowl agreements would be played out. This happened with the Big East.

Speaking of Big East I find it funny that WVU is in the most precarious position of all of the BE football schools circa 1998 except Temple. VT, Miami, BC, Pitt, and Syracuse to ACC. Rutgers to B1G. WVU playing in a tumultuous Texas-based conference.
