Most ND fans have indicated


that if it becomes a REQUIREMENT to be a conference champion to be in the CFB, they will join the next day - now apparently that will be the ACC if that happens in the next 20 years - no Delaney B1G competition. (yes I know contracts can change)

The only question now is if the "status quo" becomes four conference champs going to the CFP (from four or five conferences) WITHOUT an actual rule requiring it, what does ND do?

Swallow their pride and join a conference? OR

Slowly (very slowly) become a great school with with outstanding football history and tradition, but with mid tier football performance - similar to Navy.

Another three years of conference champs would make five straight years - could be a good time to look at options...hmm
