With few exceptions, the games aren't competitive. Incredible rare upsets


are no reason to do this. Much more often the FCS school gets steamrolled and the players beat up.

The FCS schools do it for the money and almost never get to host.

Play the exhibition games AT the FCS schools and let them use it as a fundraiser. The P schools get a good preseason warm up so the weekend 1 bizarro results become fewer and further between. Also a good chance to see which true Frs are ready without burning a redshirt. Officials get a good warmup as well to address new rule changes and crews can iron out the kinks.

Everybody wins.

With a CFP now in place, the P schools should encourage less gaming of the schedule and FCS matchups are often just that.
