How much does/did it hurt the NHL to be on NBCsports instead of ESPN?

I think when it first happened it really hurt but I think it has stabilized and actually grown a bit.

How would the ACC be if we choose the same path? That is the big question! Meyer and Harbaugh say too big of a problem. What say Jimbo and Dabo?
