Stech and others....

Hypothetical....

UT, OU, KU, TTU and WVU to ACC

In this concept. Each ACC team has 5 rivals they play each year. Then 3 other games that are rotated. NO divisions. Seasons end the two best teams in the playoff potential play for the right to advance on. Let's say this previous year it would have been OU and Clemson. Hmmm they did play in final 4. You would have 4 confences then. Each champ to final 4. Now ND fans don't get in tizzy. THis was a hypothetical. With 8 games you would still get USC, Stanford and Navy.

Also for lure a guaranteed each year game with TEXAS. Actually in my thinking I believe I wrote down ND's five always as .....UT, Pitt, Miami, BC and not sure sure on there. Maybe Wake. Why Wake? Well the Irish will want a game in NC. GT may also be a natural rival.

Now VT's five...... I believe UVA, THE U, BC(hell we have played em many times. NC State and I think Clemson. NO matter how you would shake it . The playoff formula would determine the title(ACC) game. So WIN darn it. Don't play to many softies out of league.

Also I am NOW in the mind that ACC may have more leverage then some give credit. Why? One thing is ND I believe will indeed help in the end game. TWO....... NBC has to be starving for content. Like the BIG did with FOX. Use it to your ACC advantage. ACC content is somewhat improving football. ACC Bball which is the LEAGUE. Plus other sports is fantastic.

Ok now some will say yes all those schools above besides ND, WVU and TTU to the BIG. Or maybe SEC. Well UT is no to SEC. Texas will want TTU with them . ACC will take. OU eventually will stay with Texas. Why? NBC money and guaranteed high NOON game each year. OR PRIMETIME. Sure ND will allow. In end game they will get what they want money wise. If ND wants to play. They will pay. Plus ESPN will work it out like they did with SEC/CBS.
