So I show up in Doswell Virginia to run the Tough Mudder with a few friends and my 16 yo son. At the start line a minute or two before the start I look over and see Devin Carter and his girlfriend. Went over and in the 1 minute before the start introduced myself and had a nice chat.

We were in the front of the pack and after the start Devin caught up to us quickly and as he passed us in the gawd awful 95 degree heat and 10 more miles of pain ahead, I yell "No Oranges Today!" Took Devin a second to respond with a laugh, but his girlfriend mus be sharp as a whip because she busted out laughing immediately.

Great run (With my son for the first time, who ate up the course and now wants more of that), great random encounter, and great guy and gal in Devin Carter and his squeeze. Great day!
