Two things are eventually going to come to a head....


1) At some point they'll be left out of the playoff because they don't have that extra game, or another chance to be in front of the decision makers. What happens when a 2 loss conference champion makes it in over a 1 loss ND team?
2) If ND were to join fully, plus another school, I'd be interested to know if the TV contract can be renegotiated, and if so, what the full inclusion of ND would bring.

They only get 1/15 of FB TV money so at some point, if they go all in, that money will be greater than their NBC revenue.
