Looking at the other resources of this program (from original link), it looks like this position does not preclude holding a primary position (such as the pitching coach / recruiting position he held at Tech). Note that one of the other people on the USAB staff is the current head coach at Wake Forest. I believe it would have been a prestigious and valuable position for a VT coach and our program.
