Soccer has the largest region of any sport played on the globe.

It is one of the only sports who's world championship involves participation of competition from every reach in the world. I would say that the only thing achieved by not sponsoring soccer is to make the SEC and the Big XII only regional leagues.

There is no good explanation for Kentucky, and South Carolina playing men's soccer in Conference USA; and for West Virginia playing soccer in the MAC. If those conferences, SEC and Big XII, have no plans to enter into the world of soccer, I'd be for inviting Kentucky, South Carolina, and West Virginia men's soccer into the ACC like Notre Dame is doing with ice hockey and the Big Ten. It can only help the ACC Network, and it wouldn't cost much at all.
