The B1G is happy with MD & RU.

But I don't think that their fans are going to support moving a lot of B1G Championships and other events to Eastern Cities. Making the fans of 12 schools travel to the geographic outskirts of the league footprint where only 1 member lives will get very old. I watched it in the ACC when we tried to do a lot of stuff in Florida and Boston.

Having event central for athletes and fans to travel to will be the end result. So look for things to settle in Indianapolis and Chicago. They'll keep the cable subscribers in Maryland and New Jersey, but I look for the New York City/Washington DC hype to die down for the B1G.
