The $155M deal was replaced with a $240M deal with a $45M kicker ...

in 2012, the ACC reworked their deal with ESPN to the new $240M/year deal with the $45M ACCN kicker in place for 2016+ if no network is in place. So it's essentially a $290M/year deal starting in July even if no Network is in place. there is also a look in available in year 5 (2017) to renegotiate the deal based on market conditions. it's not a bad deal at all. it may not be an SEC deal, but it's not a bad one, and ESPN will play ball with the conf over the next 12 months to ensure it remains a competitive deal in order to keep the conf under their umbrella.
