I know all of that. BC was added later.

As you pointed out, Miami was losing money and there was little reason they should have been allowed to call the shots when expansion was first discussed. They needed the ACC more than the ACC needed them. The SEC or B1G were NEVER going to bail Miami out, and they knew it.

So why did Swofford and Co allow Shalala to call the shots and pick teams? that was dumb.

So once Miami and VT were added as #10 and #11, why were they still allowed to call the shots? That was even dumber.

BC was a poor addition and ACC leadership has nobody to blame but themselves.
