Never suggested it was a grand move by the Big12. Just that ACC's worse off


I think the Big12 is a hodgepodge that's barely hanging together. The Big12 is also quite limited and vulnerable due to its location.

Remarkably though, they have found a way to earn millions of dollars more per school than the ACC from TV and bowls.

What I'm pointing to with these posts is how absolutely horribly ACC leadership has done.

Iowa St. earns millions more than Wake Forrest and BC.

WVU earns millions more than Virginia Tech.

And worst of all in my opinion, schools like Texas and Oklahoma earn ten to fifteen million dollars more per year from bowls and TV than schools like FSU and Clemson.

That'll leave a mark.

And again, I am not suggesting the Big12 has done wonderfully. What I am suggesting is that the ACC has done about as bad as they possibly could have. I'm serious when I state that nearly every major move has been the wrong move for the ACC. About the best things they've done, adding VT and UofL, they were strong armed into.


Considering demographics, I don't think the ACC should be earning a whole heck of a lot less than the B1G.
