Duke, Wake and BC have had their moments.

Wake won the ACC in the last 10 years. BC played for the ACCC twice. Duke is good now. I can't call them crappy football programs. Although I still contend that Wake doesn't belong in the P5 based on size, alumni numbers and media appeal.

My problem is that you are saying the University of Mississippi, LSU, USC-e, MSU, Arkansas are crappy schools. I contend that they are not. Are they Duke or Vanderbilt? No. But they are good schools.

And lastly, I never knock my university. But if you go by some "rankings", Tech is grouped with FSU and NCSU. All great schools IMO. But some folks have a more pompous point of view.
