I found this article that talks about the University of Houston,

the city of Houston, the ongoing competition between the Big XII and SEC in that part of the state, and why the Longhorns may not want the Cougars in the Big XII. I am not buying what the article is suggesting about the Longhorns. However, I found the other parts about the article rather interesting especially when considering how future projections could influence decisions a conference makes today.
