When these things happen, it always reminds me how lucky we are at VT

We were a nobody in CFB when Frank showed up. He put us on the map. Yes, we had some bad press and some things we're not always proud of along the way, but in the end we weathered those storms because at it's core the university and Coach Beamer did things the right way for the right reasons.

Other programs have risen quickly and fell often more quickly. We may never have reached the ultimate, n the end we can be proud of the program and university it represented.
