Don't trust the manfactureres to know their own product

Ordered one last week. Didn't know the exact model number of my fridge- I was at work. But Frigidaire has a "what water filter do you need" tool/guide.

It takes you through steps where you pick the type of frige (stacked, french door, side by side), location of filter, and it tells you what filter you need. Pretty neat.

So I ordered the one the tool said I needed, it arrived, I went to put it in...nope. Wouldn't fit.

Now here's the thing- it's not like I picked 1 of 3 filters. I have a side-by-side, top right back of fridge filter. It gave me 1 option, and it didn't work. In order to get the correct filter from their tool (I looked at the model number when home), I had to change my fridge type from side-by-side (again, I have this type) to french-door (which I don't have).
