We could have that today.


But back in the days of segregation and the struggles of the 1950s and 1960s against it, that could never have worked.

One of the things I find exciting about the ACC today is that the ACC truly has made the north and the south in a conference together a reality. Clemson and Boston College in the same conference would have been unthinkable in those earlier decades. Today it works.
