Most Northern Virginia, Richmond & Hampton Roads people go to OBX.

In fact most North Carolina people go south to South Carolina, Georgia for the beach. People tend to go at least one state south to go to the beach. The exception is if they own something in their own state, but that's the minority, not the majority,
