Understood, but I don't see why believing such things and

reading that post should ruffle such a person's feathers...it's a simple compilation of readily-available data

there certainly can be varying opinions of what the data means or how valuable it is to examine, but the data is what it is and the post merely presented it without any real opinion as to its merits
