I know that's what they've said, but I don't think it's the case


I think the private schools could be left hanging (Houston is a better property than Baylor, imo) and several schools, most notably KSU and TT, would have to change their football recruiting modelwould they or would they rather be a bigger dog in a G5? Have they EVER been nationally competitive without taking the non-Q Jucos? If they change conferences, those days are over.

In the end, if Texas and Oklahoma announce their long term intentions to move, the conference will dissolve and those members that have sufficient value to the other P conferences will be absorbed. The PAC needs to expand its geography and the other 3 could benefit with targeted additions.

Public sympathy won't be enough to prevent it's collapse.
