The GOR is a grant to the conference by individual schools. It is in place

to protect the conference, not the network.

Ex. If Oklahoma left the Big 12 to go to the Big 10, any money Fox pays to air a future Oklahoma game would have to paid to the Big 12 conference, not Oklahoma or the Big10.

Am I wrong on this?
