It may not be that unique among the conferences when you

consider the Big Ten has no desire to add Iowa State, Cincinnati, Pitt, or Temple. As far as the SEC goes, I thought Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, and LSU all wanted to be the only school from their respective state in the SEC. The reports I have seen suggest that TAMU is either already apart of that club or wants to join that club for a number of different reasons.
