The Big Ten has to come up with a second TV partner to overpay.

Fox has bid $250 million for half of the Big Ten. They want someone else to bid the same or close for the second half. ESPN has probably bid $100 million, which is what ESPN plays today for both halves of the Big Ten. If NBC, CBS, or TBS decide to overpay like Fox, then ESPN will be out.

Perhaps College Gameday will be more interesting not having to dwell so much on Big Ten stuff.
