That's the data the weather stations reported.


Maybe some stations average data over more years? Maybe Raleigh has a different interpretation of what is sunny and partly sunny or cloudy? I don't know. Blacksburg weather station and Richmond don't agree on advisories and warnings. Appomattox County (Blacksburg region) can have a heat warning while neighboring Prince Edward County (Richmond region) may have a heat advisory even though Prince Edward might actually be hotter. I see it with wind, snow, rain, heat, frost,...
