Here is an add on question that might help tie this into Realignment.


Of the schools that are consistently among the worst of the P5, are any of them in danger of being left behind if the P5 breaks away and forms their own independent group? Either excluded by the others, or choosing on their own, perhaps for financial reasons. I would not think Kansas would be in this situtation and would consider their recruiting failure to be more of an anomaly. But smaller schools like Wake, might find the road difficult.

Right now weaker schools in the P5 are still far ahead of many FBS schools, but if the P5 breaks away, suddenly they become the bottom feeders.
