Product/ distribution, schedule of games, etc etc....and membership......

The world of college athletics are vultures, its better to keep everything close to the hip. you don't want the fiasco going on the big 12. Where you have big mouths in West Va and Oklahoma stirring it up in a public venue.

Thats not the venue that Disney, Comcast and FOX deal in. Its content, market penetration, and ad revenue. period. Its nothing to do with loyalty, politics, values. its all about for these corporations where they can generate the best revenue with the least expenses.
