Ticket map donation analysis if seats were priced by location (inside)

Had some time to reflect on the seat donation. My first inclination was that I was annoyed that it was going to cost me about $600 more per season for the same ticket. That said, I tried to think about it objectively and in terms of how professional sporting events are priced.

For the sake of comparison, figure each game the face value of the ticket is $60. When you factor in the seat donation, divided by 6 home games, you would essentially get this pricing structure per seat, per game.

$800/6 = $133 + $60 = $193 /gm
$600/6 = $100 + $60 = $160 /gm
$350/6 = $58 + $60= $118 /gm
$200/6 = $33 + $60= $93 /gm
$100/6 = $17 + $60= $77 /gm
$50/6 = $8 + $60= $68 /gm
$0/6 =$0 + $60 = $60 /gm

So $193 per game for the best tickets, $60 per game for the worst tickets. My guess is that this structure probably doesn't look a whole lot different than what you would pay for NFL. If anything it is probably lower.

So in summary, not as upset about my $118 per ticket per game, likely in line with what it would be for and NFL team, and I enjoy this much more than NFL.
