Oklahoma and Texas really don't want to be in an expanded Big 12, it's ..

that simple. Both OU and Texas will have 3 or 4 Power 5 offers. They have nothing to gain with Big 12 expansion but lots to gain if they join, let's say the SEC or Big 10.

I just wonder which other Power 5 conference will make the first offer to Texas and/or Oklahoma. Once that offer is leaked by the media, all hell breaks loose. Hopefully the ACC will have a network announcement before all this comes about. Hopefully no P-5 conference makes an offer before July 1st. The ACC won't be in the OU-Texas sweepstakes if they have no conference network this summer. IMHO, the Big 10 and SEC have the upper hand when it comes to selecting the cream of the crop of the Big 12.
