GOR expires many years from now? It is being portrayed as if it is now or never for expansion/network. I understand OU wants to push the agenda and $ compared to SEC/B1G is an issue but Texas can just sit back (and get a couple schools to vote along with them) for many years under the current situation.

If we are talking about B12 being in trouble 10+ years from now I can see that.

This is sort of similar to ACC and the network / $ discrepancies. But that is just a $ thing. It is not in "trouble" because of the GOR (and schools like the ACC).

As a tangent, the B12 dissolving or becoming a shell of itself opens up some opportunities ($ and bowl) for the ACC but if the other 3 pick apart the top B12 assets (e.g., OU/KU to B1G, Texas to Pac) the ACC would be pushed down even further as the undisputed low man on the Power pole.
