I think 20 hrs is max. Having said that, they may not get that many hours

in. Play two or 3 games per week, Lots of travel. They may very well not get in max hours. It doesn't matter which sport or who the coach is. They also need study time.

Sad part is that they would have moved up next year and gotten more attention. They most likely would have been in the first or second string. Sometimes you have to wait your turn. And while you do, you work on your own game. Watch film etc. Mentally prepare by watching.
