Thanks for your great update. I bet you are correct that no one included any mention of benefits in the commitment form that we were required to sign off on. For me, I have the HC promise of benefits only in an email they sent along with the commitment form. I wonder if an email from the Hokie Club is a "legal representation of benefits" and would be upheld as a written legal documentation in court? I will include my email that was sent from the Hokie Club.
"I am glad that you all are considering a gift to the new basketball practice facility and Golden Champion. Yes, a golden champion commitment could be pledged w/ a commitment of $50,000 over five years. Obviously, shorter pledge periods are welcome. Once the pledge is funded, a $500 annual donation is required to maintain those same level of benefits."
