Centreville, If I may

What you stated was also told to us last night. That's what we were also assured. I think the concern by some on here, is that the real loss to the HC is the loss of trust with us. Because their actions have been less than transparent, and some feel betrayed (not saying they were, just feel that way), it causes trust issues they really need. It would help if they would become more transparent, and continue that way after this kerfuffle ceases. Also, their presentation should be edited. We all knew the need, and the PowerPoint was mostly from the brochure we were sent. They didn't notify the donors beforehand, so they should have just given a brief presentation on the needs and intent, and alloted more than 19-minutes (in my case) answering questions. And, when faced with some criticism and questioning, essentially blinked. I still think they can re-construct their pitch, but they need to become more transparent in all their processes, remain transparent, be more consistent in their outreach/customer service to old and new donors alike, and go away from "sales mode" to 'transparency/appeal mode." Don't pitch me, appeal to me, and allow me to do the right thing.
