...e fans and alumni giving. If we want coaches that will bring us back to being relevant and exciting we have to bring money to the table. Those of us who are in the 4% who give back to the school have had a vested interest with the team as we feel we are part of the "team". My friends and acquaintances who do not give to the Hokie club are the first to bad mouth the athletics because they truly don't feel they are part of the "team". Even though the last several years have been tough to stomach, I've always felt like this is my team and I would support it as long as I could. It is a priority to me. Now the reseating is not fair but is necessary and until we collectively encourage our fellow fans and alumni to donate the funds have to be raised. It is up to us to help our friends and family who appear to be pationate towards all things Hokie to become part of the team. This will lesson our burden and reinvigorate the stadium.
