I very highly doubt many if any would stop. Too much psychology at play

to abandon ship like that. If the university you love and revere so much that you would give big money decides a given direction is what is best for your school and you stop giving you look like you were never a supporter to begin with. The In-group Out-group pressure would be monumental. I do see lots of vocal opposition but not the real money or power players. People on the internet are not the ones making the needle move. ND to a conference is inevitable in my opinion. When that happens folks may complain but they will move on quickly once the games start back up again.
