Half of that is on the player, not the coach.


Lead-off guy makes split second decisions, right or wrong. And first -pitch swinging depends on what the pitcher has been throwing up to that point. (Have they all been grooved, etc.?)

If the guy on first waited before running with two outs, that's on him. Not the coach. He should have learned that by age 10. Was the coaching waving him to third, or did he do it on his own (I have no idea, BTW).

I understand there is a problem with coaching, but let's put the blame where it belongs.
