Under this plan, there would be 11 teams in each division.
10 division games, no crossovers. 2 OOC games.
Let's say that Iowa State and TCU are the floaters for the first 3 years, and Baylor and TTU are floaters for the second. You have to have a 6 year rotation, rather than a 3 year rotation or else ISU and TCU would never play one another.
Year 1:
Division A: TCU + Deep South Pod + Mid Atlantic Pod
Division B: ISU + Old Big East + Plains
Year 2:
Division A: TCU + Plains + Mid Atlantic Pod
Division B: ISU + Deep South Pod + Old Big East
Year 3:
Division A: TCU + Mid Atlantic Pod + Old Big East
Division B: ISU + Plains + Deep South Pod
Year 4:
Division A: Baylor + Deep South Pod + Mid Atlantic Pod
Division B: TTU + Old Big East + Plains
Year 5:
Division A: Baylor + Plains + Mid Atlantic Pod
Division B: TTU + Deep South Pod + Old Big East
Year 6:
Division A: Baylor + Mid Atlantic Pod + Old Big East
Division B: TTU + Plains + Deep South Pod
Old East Pod: WVU, Pitt, Louisville, BC, Syracuse
Mid Atlantic Pod: UNC, UVa, Duke, Wake, GT
Plains Pod: Texas, OU, OkSt, Kansas, KSU,
Deep South Pod: Miami, FSU, Clemson, TCU/Baylor, ISU*/TT
*OK, so ISU is a bit misplace in the Deep South Pod. But keep in mind, it would only be for 3 of the 6 years.
