Part of it depends on your life


style after retirement. Do you want to travel a lot? Will you still have a mortgage? I retired at 56 and am living comfortably on the 4% rule. I am currently 60 and plan to start taking reduced social security payments at 62(fun money). The break even point for ss is about age 75,so I have decided to take it early.
