Nope. I'm pro VT. ACC hasn't been all that good to VT, not that they tried.

As much as I wanted an ACC offer back in the day, I now feel VT would have been better off had they not. By the end of the decade, VT would have likely ended up in the SEC in that scenario.

The ACC has potential to be a great home for VT, but I've watched these goons transform this from the strongest of conferences into one of the worst in little over a decade. And their poor decisions have been predicted to be so. The Big12 has geography working against it bigtime, yet here we sit with their schools bringing in more TV and bowl money annually than ACC schools. That is ridiculous and it all points directly to ACC leadership. I would maybe be in favor of VT remaining in the ACC if it had new leadership, but it may be too late even if a Dulaney showed up in Greensboro. The ACC's gonna need a few lucky bounces to remain in tact for 10 more years.

At this point, I feel VT would be better off if the whole thing crumbled. Regrettably, VT will not be the first to leave, but I dang sure hope it's the second or third.
