Clemson is a good benchmark for VT for a lot of factors


VT's endowment has more than doubled since 2000 and will hopefully hit the magic billion mark soon. I believe Clemson's was larger in recent memory but not anymore. AAU status for VT would be a nice bump. VT is a bigger school with a much bigger in-state population to draw from, and we should certainly pass Clemson in alumni donations with success by Coach Fuente.

Clemson's major advantages are slightly better weather, tradition, and that big stadium that they can fil.. Wins by CJF can fix some of that.
