Bees and decks

We moved into our house with a wood and composite wood deck. the bees LOVE it.

Is there anything worth spraying on the deck to repel/deter them? Never had to deal with it before- so figured I'd check where people might have.

NOTE: I now what to do about carpenter bees- but the others is what I'm thinking about..
