I'm surprised they are wasting their time with this...


Let the free market rule. If there is an interesting 5-7 team playing I will watch, if not, I won't. I can't understand why anyone cares.


AND, this will only underscore how bright line rules do not work. What if one school played a killer schedule loaded with top 25 competition and finishes 5-7, while another played a weak schedule and finished 6-6? If the purpose of the moratorium is to keep the 5-7 teams home, the NCAA creates a perverse incentive for weak scheduling.

I'm really glad the NCAA is staying on top of these important issues.
