I agree that it could play out that way for Miami.

However, isn't it equally possible that the SEC-type recruits more appealing now that "Da U" is a member of the SEC? Even though today's recruit may not have been born to grow up during Da U's glory years (late 1970s - early 1990s), I suspect they have still heard the stories of how the players got to live during that time and get to party with Luther Campbell and the other members of 2 Live Crew. If Da U truly wanted to get its swagger back and the program is willing to embrace the image it had during it glory years, then I would think the SEC would be its best bet because right now the SEC is considered to be en vogue while ACC football is still trying to find its sex appeal.
