Silly talk. Here's why...

1. UNC, and to a lesser extent UVA aren't going to be the first to move out of the ACC. They'd only go if FSU and GT were forcing their hand, and at that point it would be public information instead of something quiet. If the ACC breaks up, UNC and UVA will land great homes so there is no advantage to be first movers.

2. The Big10 is solid with PSU, MSU, OSU, UM, UMD and WISC... but there's a lot of baggage with many teams in the conference either by population, fanbase, or tradition ( Minnesota, Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa).

3. The ACC is doing fine, both financially and athletically. The schools you mentioned as first movers aren't going to be left behind in any scenario and they are thinking long term, not short term. Regardless if the ACC Network happens, people will continue to watch those teams and they can drive $$$. FSU and GT aren't going to join a midwest based conference unless it's the only thing left on the table.
